Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Packtory ("Packtory", "we", "us", or "our"), a shipping platform for ecommerce sellers in Canada. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
Packtory is a shipping label reseller. We negotiate discounted shipping rates with third-party carriers (such as Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Purolator) and pass those savings on to our customers. Packtory is not a carrier: we do not transport, store, or handle your packages. Once a label is purchased, the shipment is governed by the applicable carrier's own terms of service, tariffs, and liability limits.
2. Prepaid Wallet
- Packtory operates on a prepaid wallet model. You add funds to your wallet via bank transfer (reviewed and approved by our team) or, where available, by credit card.
- Wallet funds are used exclusively to pay for shipping labels and related fees purchased through Packtory. Wallet balances are non-transferable between accounts and carry no cash value outside the platform.
- Wallet balances do not expire, but are subject to forfeiture if your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms.
3. Orders and Cancellation
- Rate quotes shown before checkout are estimates based on the package information you provide. The final price is calculated and deducted from your wallet at the moment you create a shipment.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you submit, including sender and recipient addresses, package weight and dimensions, and customs details. Inaccurate information may result in additional carrier surcharges, delays, or non-delivery, for which Packtory is not liable.
- Orders that have not yet been picked up or processed by the carrier can be cancelled from your dashboard for a full refund credited back to your wallet balance. Once a carrier has scanned, processed, or shipped a package, the order can no longer be cancelled through Packtory.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Packtory platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Packtory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost packages, carrier delays, or customs holds. Claims for lost or damaged shipments are subject to the originating carrier's own claims process and liability limits, not Packtory's. Packtory's total liability for any claim relating to a specific order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
5. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, abused the platform or carrier relationships, or failed to resolve a disputed charge. Upon termination for cause, any remaining wallet balance may be withheld pending investigation.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Packtory after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
